Jelly stone

We had so much fun at Jellystone the other weekend. Granted it rained on us most of the morning on Sat. but that didn't stop the kids from having fun. I didn't take too many pictures and actually looking at them I don't really have any of Tyler. He was taking 3.5 hour naps everyday and when we did stuff it was usually around his nap time. He slept through the parade, which was fine. I would rather him be rested then wake him up and be a grump for it :)
It was such a great time. We met some friends out there and just had a blast together. There were 4 families total with 9 kids between us. They all got along great, for the most part. We reserved the same cabin for next year!! Dave is hooked on the camping thing now, which is awesome. We used to camp all the time when I was growing up. Anyway, enough of the writing I know most of you just want to see pictures of the kids ;)

Wicked witch!!
And they're off. Going to line up for the parade. Hurry there is candy to get!

Apple Festival

We went to the apple festival a few weeks ago and had a great time. It was bigger then what we had thought. We went with Mike, Rhonda and Alana's friend Lizzie. The girls had a great time hanging out together. Tyler seemed to have fun as well. He tried out the hula hoop but decided it was just easier to carry it around. They had all sorts of fun kid activities.
Checking out the puppet show.
Petting zoo
Playing in some straw. They were covered in straw all the way down to their undies :) They had fun throwing it all over. Good times!

It's finally over!!

Well I don't know about everyone else. But our weekend was exhausting. Not because we had friends out for the weekend (which was so much fun!!!) but because Alana was sick from late Thursday night until Sunday evening. She woke up Thursday night, or more like EARLY Friday morning crying. I went in to her room to find her standing next to her bed. The only thing she said was "this is yucky" I looked at her bed....she threw up all over her bed and all over her jammies, hands, hair, you name it. So Dave took her into the bathroom to clean her up and I took care of the bed. Between gags myself I got her bed all clean. We decided to let her sleep in our bed in case she felt the urge again. Well Sure enough she did and as I picked her up to run into the bathroom we heard a plop, she threw up down my back (yum) and onto the floor. Dave cleaned up the floor while I stood there holding Alana's hair back as she puked in the toilet. So Dave then helped her brush her teeth while I cleaned myself up and back to bed we go. We were hoping the was the last of it. She woke up looking happy but didn't want to eat anything. So we gave her something to drink. Sure enough about 10 minutes later she was back in the bathroom. She ended up putting herself down for a 3.5 hour nap in the afternoon and woke up warm. She did good the rest of the day, only threw up a couple more times. Then Saturday rolls around. Will she be better today....Nope she threw up yet again! This is the longest she has ever been sick. She again put herself down for a nap slept for several hours and didn't eat much that day. Sunday same old thing. She was finally starting to act a little more 'normal' but didn't really eat much. She took another long nap (which anyone that knows her knows that Alana has stopped with napping a long time ago) This morning she actually ate her cereal (which is what she asked for) and everything she had has stayed down. She also spent a lot of time in the bathroom and needed several pairs of underwear throughout the weekend. Joy! I am hoping she is all better and will be fine in school tomorrow! So needless to say I didn't take any pictures this weekend. Too much to deal with. Don't even get me started on the puppy, that is a story for another day.....

Train ride

I took this video standing in our kitchen through our screen door. I wanted to catch them in the act and I knew if I opened the door and they saw the camera they wouldn't have done it again. It's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt! And yes, Alana had to go to the bathroom. She came running in after this video was done :)

Family picture

Alana decided to draw a family picture. She even included the dog and cats. I decided to take a picture of it since she drew it with the crayola wonder markers on the back of her coloring book so soon it'll fade away. She was very proud of it!

A day at the park

I decided to spend my birthday doing some fun things with the kids, since Dave had to work. I took them to the park where they played pretty hard for a few hours. After that we went to lunch at Texas Lunch here in Chambersburg. Very yummy mom and pop style food. The kids Love it there. They are little celebrities there. They walk around saying Hi to everyone and waving bye to anyone and everyone. They all seem to get a kick out of the two of them!
They really wanted to swing in these swings! Whatever will make them happy!
