The Tower

They put up the Tower ladder for the kids to see. As you can tell Tyler LOVED it. We had to stop him from running up the ladder he was all about it! The child has no fear!

Now how many 3 and 5 yr olds get to stand on the ladder like that :) they thought they were just too cool. They were waving at all the guys that were standing around. I think they got a kick out of seeing the kids getting so excited about everything.

Of course I had to take a shot of the kids with Daddy up there, even though he doesn't ride that.

While we were visiting they got a call so they had to hurry off. Which the kids thought was pretty cool at first until they realized Daddy was going too.

If only every time he would get back from a call his kids would be there to run up to him. Dave called to tell me they were on their way back so we sat on the picnic table waiting. The kids were SO excited when it rounded the corner. I had to hold Tyler back so the Engine could pull through before he ran up to greet his Daddy.

I took the kids to visit Dave at work the other day. It was a lot of fun. Tyler has been confused about where Daddy works. He has been to the fire house here in town a lot and didn't seem to understand why we couldn't see Daddy at 'work' whenever we drove past the local fire house.

Mother's day lunch

Today Alana's school had a lunch for Mother's day. It was a lot of fun. They sang us songs and had pizza and salad for lunch. The dessert was cookies that they made. It turned out very cute.

Each kid made a picture of their mom. We had to guess which one was us. Very funny!

Mothers Day song

This is one of 4 songs they sang to all of us moms. It was very cute! She actually gave me a little preview this morning prior to going to school. She couldn't wait I guess!

Daddy's boy!

Tyler decided to make a little fashion statement and walk around in his 'fire truck' boots and diaper. He is our silly boy! And yes these will be shown at his wedding one day :)

Future stunt doubles

They spent a good 20 minutes rolling down this little hill between our house and our neighbor's. Whatever makes them happy! I just like the sound effects they are doing as the are 'falling'

We were rearranging the attic and Tyler found some Mickey Mouse ears. So he decided to wear them all day! He was really hamming it up once he saw the camera. I did manage to get one picture where he wasn't being too silly!

Ocean CIty

Last weekend my good friend called me up and invited me and the kids to O.C. for the weekend. Dave was working all weekend so how could I say no!? We had an awesome time and the weather was perfect. The kids had a blast there. I can't wait to go back again....hint hint Jenn ;)
