Mother's day lunch

Today Alana's school had a lunch for Mother's day. It was a lot of fun. They sang us songs and had pizza and salad for lunch. The dessert was cookies that they made. It turned out very cute.

My card and Place mat

a few picture frames she made me. The little person one actually stands up.

The flower cookies, planted in dirt (pudding and cookie crumbs) and gummy worms!

Each kid made a picture of their mom. We had to guess which one was us. Very funny!

Mothers Day song

This is one of 4 songs they sang to all of us moms. It was very cute! She actually gave me a little preview this morning prior to going to school. She couldn't wait I guess!

Daddy's boy!

Tyler helping daddy get the garden ready. We are planting garlic, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes this year! We'll see how it goes! Notice he is wearing his boots! He loves them!

Tyler decided to make a little fashion statement and walk around in his 'fire truck' boots and diaper. He is our silly boy! And yes these will be shown at his wedding one day :)

Future stunt doubles

They spent a good 20 minutes rolling down this little hill between our house and our neighbor's. Whatever makes them happy! I just like the sound effects they are doing as the are 'falling'

Mickey Mouse!

We were rearranging the attic and Tyler found some Mickey Mouse ears. So he decided to wear them all day! He was really hamming it up once he saw the camera. I did manage to get one picture where he wasn't being too silly!

Ocean CIty

Last weekend my good friend called me up and invited me and the kids to O.C. for the weekend. Dave was working all weekend so how could I say no!? We had an awesome time and the weather was perfect. The kids had a blast there. I can't wait to go back again....hint hint Jenn ;)

The Beach

The weather was nice enough when we were in VA that we could hang out at the beach for a few hours. The kids loved it. The water was pretty cold but that didn't seem to bother Alana. Tyler was more interested in running around on the sand.

Daddy explaining what type of shells she found on the beach and counting them out. Of course they had to be in a straight row too!
