Tyler and the train

It was no surprise that Tyler had zero interest in anything other then the train the first day we were in Ohio. We thought it would be fun to take them back to the pond to feed the fish. Tyler humored us and walked back to the pond with us, and then he got bored rather quickly. He decided he would take himself back up to the house and went straight for the train. Good thing it wasn't painted Thomas blue otherwise we would have never gotten him away from it! He was very excited when he heard a real train while they were outside playing. My parents live right up the street from a railroad crossing.
It might be a little hard to tell what he is saying but the first thing is "All aboard" then he is saying "Bye bye choo choo, Bye Bye Mom"

Playing outside

The kids had a great time playing together out side. They would run back and forth between the train that Grandpa made and the swing set. It was fun to see the 4 of them running around together. They all got along very well and didn't fight, too much, over toys. They had a hard time taking turns with who was going to drive the train. But those debates usually didn't last long.

Egg Hunt

We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Olson's for Easter Sunday. The Easter bunny decided to hide a bunch of eggs in the back yard for the kids to find. They had a lot of fun searching for all of them. Tyler at first didn't really care too much about the eggs. He just wanted to run around the back yard. But once he saw Kate and Alana picking up the eggs and putting them in their baskets he got into it.
Getting ready to go hunting.

Kate found one!
Tyler saying "Wook" He was happy to find one. Even though it meant having to put down the train so he could pick it up.
Alana got one too!

Egg hunt 2

Here are a few group shots. It is hard to get all three kids to actually look at the same camera and smile. They were saying "Cheese" at all different times. They would look at each other and laugh, so this was the best one we could get!

Same thing with a family shot. It is hard to get all of us to look at the same place, especially when there are 3 cameras on ya. We don't have very many family pictures so it was nice to get one where we are actually dressed semi nice :)

It's a shame these girls don't get along :) They have soo much fun when they are together. It is great to watch. I am sure sometime soon these two will be getting into a lot of trouble!
Of course I had to put a picture of Baby Hal. This was his first Easter. Though he slept through most of it and really had no idea what was going on. He is a cutie! Happy first Easter buddy!

Mike the Dog Whisperer

Mike Bussman was over at the Olson's house for Easter. Some how he managed to get all 4 dogs to sit still. They sat still for about 10 min. We have no idea how he did it. It was a first! Such control. As he said he is like the pied piper of Dogs, HA!

Easter Morning

We celebrated Easter a few days early. With Dave's work schedule and our travel plans this morning was the closest we could get to have their Easter. Alana woke up this morning and the first thing she asked was if the Easter Bunny came. She does not forget things very easily. Both of them were surprised by their baskets. Tyler got a little truck that has Go Diego Go on it and he kept saying "Go go go" Alana was pretty excited about the candy and yo-yo. They are going to be on a sugar high for weeks I think! Daddy of course had to test the candy to make sure that it was alright for the kids to eat ;)

Tyler was saying "cheese" because he saw the camera
Daddy was thrilled that the Easter bunny gave nail polish to her.
